We believe an entire season's racing can cost as little as £400 (depending on damage, entry fees and petrol).

Secondhand cars can be purchased from only £2950. Part exchanges would be considered.

New, unpainted chassis are sold for £1375. Complete, ready to race new cars can be purchased from £4350 with economy seat minus harnesses. A painting service is offered at a competitive additional cost.

How long has the formula been active?

A.

2015 was the first full championship year for the Mini Super Twos. The first prototype cars were built in 2011 and tested towards the end of that year. Testing continued at Swaffham Raceway during 2012 with the first races held in 2013.

Yes. Mini Super Twos can be hired from £140 per meeting. Please see our 'Hire' page for more information.

Where do the Mini Super Twos currently race?

Mini Super Twos race at Swaffham Raceway, Norfolk and Arena Essex Raceway, two minutes' drive from the M25 Dartford Bridge crossing. The Mini Super Twos race at Arena Essex under the Rolling Thunder Show promotion. See our 'Tracks' page for more information.

Yes, although the level of contact is observed by race control.

Are the Mini Super Twos a credible formula?

A.

Absolutely. The formula's drivers have a diverse range of experience levels from complete novices to those with more than 35 years' in racing. The level nature of the cars means new drivers can compete fairly against more experienced drivers. Our drivers have raced in other formulas such as BriSCA Formula 2 (#231 Matthew Clayton), Classic Hot Rods (#48 Malcolm Foskett), GP Midgets (#32 Daniel Pooley), Irwindale Speedway Trucks in the USA (#9 Paul Sweeney), Superstox (#623 Courtney Smith), NASCAR All-American Series (#38 Daniel Boys), European Late Model Series and MASCAR (#2 Kelvin Hassell) and Spedeworth Bangers (#5 Damien Matthews).
